Note: Feathers 'N Flight does NOT offer erotic/sensual massage
Before Your Session :
Please arrive approximately 10 minutes before your
scheduled appointment time. I will take a moment to ask you
about any particular areas of pain or stiffness that you may
be experiencing, to better tailor
your massage to your needs. If you are a new client, I
will ask you to fill out a form containing important health
information that I will need to ensure that your massage is
safe and comfortable. Payment is
requested up-front; I will provide you with a receipt
detailing your purchase.
You will be left alone for several minutes to undress to
your own level of comfort. Most of my clients undress
completely, but some prefer to keep their undergarments on.
Please remove any jewelry. Once undressed, lay down on the
massage table on your back, under the sheets and blanket
During Your Session:
After a few minutes I will knock on the door to see if you
are ready. When you are comfortably covered on the massage
table I will enter the room to begin our session. A typical
massage session is one hour long; a hot
stone massage will take an hour and a half. A light
massage lotion or oil will be used to reduce friction on the
skin. The first half of the massage will be performed while
you lie on your back, and then you will be asked to turn over
and lie on your stomach for the second half. Proper draping
techniques will be practiced throughout.
Most deep tissue
techniques consist of strong pressure and manipulation of
the muscles, and you may experience some discomfort. I can
coach you through much of this through concentrated breathing;
but if it becomes unpleasant please ask me to lighten the
pressure. I will concentrate particular attention on areas you
have requested, and on areas where I find excessive tension.
Soft music and dim lighting will be used to help your body
relax. I will also talk you through certain parts of the
massage as we discover problem areas, and make suggestions
that will help you alleviate these problems in the future. If
your session takes place at my
office location, you will also be treated to the gentle
sounds of water splashing and bells chiming in my relaxation
fountain, a heated pad on the massage table, and with your
permission, the warm scent of heated oils filling the room.
After Your Session:
When our time is up, I will again leave the room to allow
you to dress. I suggest that you bring warm clothing, as many
clients report feeling cold when they get up from the nice
warm table -- this is due to the increased circulation to the
surface of your skin and the effect will take a few minutes to
subside. I would also suggest that you bring a water bottle,
and drink liberally for several hours after your massage.
If your session takes place at my office
location, you will again have access to a bathroom, I will
provide you with water to drink after your session as well.
It is normal to experience some soreness and possibly even
light bruising up to 48 hours after an intense deep
tissue massage. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water
to help your body flush the toxins that have been released
from your muscles during the massage. If you notice excessive
bruising or soreness that lasts for more than two days, please
request lighter pressure for the next time.
Please allow approximately 10 minutes after your massage's
scheduled end-time to dress. When you're ready to leave, if
you are interested in purchasing any of my package
deals and / or scheduling
your next appointment, we can discuss that before you go!
